My name is Denella Kirkland and I am the Virtual Professional Learning Specialist with the Office of English Language Acquisition Services (OELAS) at the Arizona Department of Education. I have been with OELAS almost eight years now.  In my first eleven years in education, I was a classroom teacher (2nd-8th grades) and then had the opportunity to work with educators and students in the roles of a Reading Specialist and a K-8 Academic Instructional Coach.
