Edith Marquez, Executive Assistant to State Director

Edith is the Executive Assistant to Arizona State Director, Sheryl Hart.  Edith has been with ADE since 2006 and joined the Adult Education team in 2015.  She has over 15 years’ experience in public administration and has strong knowledge of government policies and practices.  Edith’s key role is to provide executive level project management support to the AES Deputy Associate Superintendent and staff on major work activities by overseeing adherence to state processes and procedures to ensure compliance.  Her main focus is to always provide exceptional internal and external customer service.  Edith truly loves what she does but sure can’t wait to be able to travel and take her two boys to amusement parks when it’s safe to do so again.
