Elizabeth Jameson


Elizabeth Jameson has been currently employed by Aguilar School District since 2013.  She holds the position of principal for the middle and high school since 2015 as well as the English Language Arts teacher for grades 6-12.  She also has been the gifted and talented coordinator since 2013. In addition to working at Aguilar, Elizabeth has experience working at Trinidad School District #1 where she served as the Language Arts Instructor for both middle school and high school, speech coach, newspaper sponsor, classroom sponsor, Renaissance Club sponsor, National Honor Society sponsor, homecoming and prom chair, Knowledge Bowl coach, and yearbook advisor. She was selected Teacher of the Year during 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 school years and was nominated for Colorado Teacher of the Year in 2005.  Elizabeth also was an adjunct professor for Educational Psychology at Adams State University and the Upward Bound instructor and English professor for Trinidad State Junior College. Elizabeth holds an AA Degree in Business Administration & Accounting from Trinidad State Junior College, a BA in English from Regis University, a MA Degree in Secondary Teaching, a MA degree in Reading Curriculum and Instruction, and Med. in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.
