Ji Soo Song


Ji Soo Song is an advocate committed to promoting educational equity. As the senior policy and advocacy associate at ISTE, he leads the research, analysis, and communication of federal, state, and local policy issues related to digital learning standards, educator credentialing systems, and professional development funding streams. Ji Soo also serves as a member of the Title IV-A Coalition's Board of Directors. Prior to ISTE, Ji Soo served as a City Year AmeriCorps Member at a Title I Elementary School in the District of Columbia, where he taught third-grade mathematics and robotics, and received the 2018 WilmerHale Civic Innovation Award. Ji Soo was also a fellow at the Office of Educational Technology (OET), where he worked on the higher education supplement to the National Education Technology Plan and OET Dear Colleague Letter. At OET, he additionally supported the #GoOpen Campaign, development of the open licensing requirement for competitive grant programs, and the dual enrollment Pell experiment. Ji Soo holds a B.A. in biology and education from Dartmouth College and M.Ed. in education policy and leadership from American University.
