Kellie Duguid


Kellie Duguid has served for 25 years in multiple culturally diverse, urban communities as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, and director of curriculum and instruction. Mrs Duguid joined the Avondale Elementary School District, first serving as the director of curriculum and innovation. She was named assistant superintendent for the district in 2019. During her time as an elementary school principal she led the school to receive the National Institute Excellence in Teaching TAP School of Promise national award in 2011. Kellie has served as an A+ Workshop Presenter since 2011, an Arizona State University BEST Professional Development Presenter since 2012, a facilitator for the Beat the Odds/National Institute of School Leadership since 2018, and was the Arizona State Representative to the National Association of Elementary School Principals from 2011 to 2015. Kellie obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in Elementary Education with an advanced certification in Educational Leadership from Chapman University and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University.
