Sheila Mendoza
My name is Sheila Mendoza and I have been in education for over 18 years and am the proud principal of Salida del Sol Elementary School in Yuma, Arizona. This is my seventh year as a principal. Prior to that I was an instructional coach, peer evaluator and most importantly, a teacher. I was honored in receiving Yuma County Teacher of the Year in 2008. I receive both my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree from Northern Arizona University. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and camping.
