Trish Zilliox
Trish Zilliox joined Arizona Department of Education in November 2019. She worked as a public-school teacher in New York City and in China as an ESL teacher. She transitioned to Arizona in 2012 with the nonprofit, Save the Children implementing literacy, health, and nutrition school- based programs with sovereign Tribal Nations. She was a faculty member with the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension and built capacity and programming efforts in Early Childhood and Food Systems. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree of Human Rights Law with a focus on Children’s Rights and Master’s Degree of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
